A student project where students were challenged to create a series of three complementary social media posts for a client (Elliott School of Communication) utilizing quotes, photos, and scripts to encourage student engagement & reach alumni. Emphasis was placed upon adhering to Wichita State University’s visual identity standards. The 3-part campaign consisted of one square design for Instagram, one horizontal design for Facebook, one vertical design for the digital board unique to the Elliott Hall building.

Front & Back Promotional Card (Professional/Quick Turnaround Exercise)

27 March 2024 | PNG | 7 x 5 inches

Challenged with creating a front and back promotional card for Wichita State University's Elliott School of Communication to hand out at a booth at the National High School Journalism convention, I designed the following horizontal handout with the quick turnaround of 4 workdays. The front was required to highlight the Elliott School and the back was to highlight The Sunflower—the student-led on-campus newspaper.

Media Design course.

Logo Redesign (Quality of Life Coalition)

17 April 2025 | PNGs | 1100 x 1100 pixels

  • Redesign (Left) | Original (Right)

When the Quality of Life Coalition (QLC) commissioned the Shocker Ad Lab to revamp the look of their digital presence, I was entrusted with creating a modern reimagining of their original logo. Out of the 3 that the team created and revised, my design was decided as the most appropriate by both the creative team and the director of QLC. As work progressed, we began mockup for potential prints for an upcoming food drive (Tote mockup shown right). For this, I created 2 versions of the design so that the company could use blue fabric. This also allowed the logo to be used on the website where this color was predominately featured.

Trifold Redesign (Quality of Life Coalition)

5 May 2025 | PDF | 14.67 x 11.33 in

  • Redesign (left)

  • Original (right)

After evaluating the QLC website, we identified some assets that may benefit for an update. I selected the pamphlet and created a mockup of a potential redesign. When our creative director saw my work, they asked that I develop a refined version to present to the client as part of our presentation of avenue and methods they can use to revitalize their media. Much like the logo I created, I used a limited color palette that is featured on their website. All copy alterations were suggestions made from the creative lead and all accompanying images were provided by stock images/companies websites (for logos).

Event Poster Redesign

Event Pamphlet/Schedule Redesign

4 February 2024 | PDF | 11 x 17 inches

25 March 2024 | PDF | 11 x 8 inches

The assignment was to select one of two real-world examples of bad design and redesign them into
contemporary event posters. The redesign (shown first/created by me) is compared to the original (shown second/created by Wind Chamber). In this project unofficial/unoriginal art was allowed within the composition. Use the navigation arrows to view the before and after.

Media Design students were tasked with redesigning the 2024 Black and Yellow Day schedule used for navigation and reference during the annual promotional event where highschoolers visit Wichita State University in a campus wide collegiate fair. This assignment challenged students in terms of information design, strict visual standards and printing/layout design for a functional folded pamphlet. The front and back of the redesign are shown on pages 1 and 2. On Page 3, the original handout is shown. Use the navigation arrows above to view all.

Information Design

Out of Home Ad - Custom Billboard

10 Dec 2024 | Client: N/A (Proof of Concept for Environmental Voter Project) | Role: Copywriter and Graphic Designer

The height and color of the ad were utilized intentionally to make it complement the sky. The negative space is also symbolic, intended to resemble the voting bubble/box present on a voting ballot. All images included are royalty free vectors or from the company’s website. This work is a proof of concept and does not reflect any real collaboration of the companies showcased.

1-Page Media Evaluation

30 January 2024 | PDF | 18 x 24 inches

Challenged with selecting an organization with well-designed social media, this class project required me to dissect/evaluate design elements such as logo, color palette, typography, art & photography, target audience and basic design principles.

3 Charts

14 April 2024 | PNG | 3036 x 3036 pixels

Using both data provided and selected, the 3 pieces above were produced through a student project where I created three independent simple infographics suitable for social media featuring original chatter and color schemes.

The Chase - 3D Modelling Composition / Storyboard

26 October 2021 | JPG | Maya

Using a 3D as a canvas, I was tasked to sketch a scene with the requirements that I feature two to three posed characters that demonstrated a clear relationship with one another. I modelled in some simple scenery and clear anticipation to showcase the genre and tone I intended.

3D Assets Practice

12 Feb 2021 | Maya

I practiced two 3D object designs that would be found in a video game. One with reference and one without. On the left is an original portrayal of a futuristic chest. On the right is a one-to-one recreation of a weapon used in the Monster Hunter franchise. The photo was taken from the official MH3 artbook.
